Erin received a bachelor of science in nursing degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. While working as a registered nurse, she received a master of nursing practice degree from the University of South Alabama in Mobile. Prior to joining the hematology oncology team as a nurse practitioner, Erin worked as a registered nurse for Ochsner's chemo infusion team. She serves as a clinical investigator on clinical trials and collaborates with physicians to care for patients enrolled in the precision cancer therapies program. Erin is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of several organizations including the Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Oncology Nursing Society. Her special areas of interest are genitourinary and early phase clinical trials. She was chosen as the 2018 Ochsner Advanced Practice Provider of the Year for her research contributions.
