Dr. Remi Okwechime is a dedicated and motivated physician currently practicing in New Orleans. Dr. Okwechime completed her bachelor of medicine - bachelor of surgery degree at Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria in 2005. She completed a master's degree in public health at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona in 2013. Following this, she completed her residency in internal medicine at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY in June, 2019. Dr. Okwechime currently works in Ochsner's neurocritical care department and is completing her fellowship in neurocritical care. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, the American Public Health Association, the Neurocritical Care Society and Society of Critical Care Medicine.
