Dr. William Lennarz received a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine located in Charlottesville, VA. He then completed a Pediatrics Residency with the University of Virginia Children's Medical Center. Throughout his career, Dr. Lennarz has operated as a faculty member at Oregon Health Sciences Center and the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He has demonstrated the qualities of leadership while serving as Director of Pediatrics for Gadsen Medical Center, Partner/President for Gloucester Pediatrics, Pediatric Medical Director for Virginia Emergency Associates, Inc., and Pediatric Chief Medical Officer and Children's Services/Critical Care Transport Vice President for Bon Secours Virginia Health System. Dr. Lennarz is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Academy of Emergency Medicine, the Children's Hospital Leadership Council, and the Society for Pediatric Sedation. He actively participates in community service through PRONINO and Fit4Kids. His special areas of interest include pediatric sedation, pediatric subspecialty workforce and utilization, and children's hospital development.
