Dr. William J. Carter, MD, FACP, received his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. Following this, he completed his residency at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. Carter specializes in hospital medicine at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. He is faculty for the medicine residency department as well as the third-year student medicine clerkship director for the University of Queensland and Ochsner Clinical School.
