Dr. Gay Story received a Doctor of Medicine degree from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. She completed an internal medicine internship at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. Dr. Story went on to complete an internal medicine residency at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana followed by the completion of an endocrinology, diabetes & metabolism fellowship at the University of Texas at Galveston. She is a military veteran, and she has served as a medical officer in the U.S. Army. She is board certified in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism. She is a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinologists.
