Dr. Butt received his Medical Degree from the University of Illinois where he was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical honors society. He did a residency at MetroHealth Medical Center in internal medicine. Dr. Butt has been in practice for 30 years including 10 years of Emergency Medicine, so he has seen a lot. He can speak Spanish, French and German but none fluently. His office in Pearl River was his private practice for 11 years before he joined Ochsner, where he has practiced for 3 yrs. The Pearl River office has a special emphasis on diabetes mellitus.
