Dr. Stewart attended medical school at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport and completed a residency program at the University of Texas-Southwestern Medical Center/Parkland Hospital in Dallas, TX. Prior to joining Ochsner in 2018, Dr. Stewart practiced in New York at the Weill Cornell/New York Presbyterian Hospital and the Jacobi Medical Center as well as in New Jersey at the University Medical Center of Princeton and the Capital Health Regional Medical Center. He has been on staff at Ochsner since 2018.Dr. Stewart is an experienced, thorough, and engaging practitioner who inspires hope and guides patients towards better health.
