Mr. Leonard Grubstein is a licensed clinical social worker in the Ochsner psychiatry department. He is a graduate of LSU and Tulane University and has been part of the Ochsner staff since 1994. Mr. Grubstein works in outpatient psychiatry. He prefers using well researched and proven methods. For anxiety disorders, his preferred modality is cognitive-behavioral with the integration of acceptance and commitment therapy. For personality disorders, longer-term modalities are utilized. Many of his clients have mood disorders, while others have a combination of disorders. His overarching philosophy is a nonjudgmental and acceptance approach.
