C. Shannon Pfingstag earned a Master of Science degree in nurse-midwifery at East Caroline University in 1995. Her career has taken her from large hospital-based midwifery practices to mobile health clinics. She brings a focus on the family-centered maternity care, a belief in shared decision making, and a love for midwifery to work with her every day.
