Ashley Dimitri, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, received her bachelor of science in nursing in 2004 and her master of science in nursing in 2017, both from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, LA. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a family nurse practitioner. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Ashley practiced nursing at Ochsner from 2006-2018 as a nationally certified Level III neonatal intensive care nurse. She has been practicing as a family nurse practitioner since April 2018 in developmental-behavioral pediatrics at the Michael R. Boh Center for Child Development. She assesses and treats children with developmental concerns, often using a multi-disciplinary approach. Ashley works in collaboration with the Boh Center team, which includes developmental pediatricians, psychologists, psychometricians, speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, social workers and medical assistants. Ashley has special clinical interests in high risk newborn follow-up and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Ashley was born and raised in New Orleans and enjoys reading suspense and thriller novels, spending time with family and partaking in New Orleans food and festivals!
