Dr. Emily Brickell received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and her master and doctoral degrees from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She completed her internship at the Miami VA Medical Center, as well as an APPCN-accredited residency in clinical neuropsychology at the VA North Texas in Dallas. Dr. Brickell has been on staff at Ochsner since 2019. Her expertise is in cognition and neuropsychology, particularly neuropsychological concerns related to aging and dementia. Her research focuses on the development of machine learning tools to identify pre-clinical Alzheimer's disease.
