Mia received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She then earned a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Mia is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
