Overview

  • Dr. Arthur Kim received his medical degree from Korea University School of Medicine in Seoul, South Korea in 1987. He went on to complete his internship at the University of Illinois in Chicago, Illinois, and residency at Hennepin County Medical Center, the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Dr. Kim completed his fellowship in minimally invasive surgery and robotic surgery at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is also trained in oncoplastic breast surgery for breast cancer patients. He is a Fellow of American College of Surgeons, a distinguished member of ASMBS (American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery), SAGES (Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgery), and ASGE (American Society for Gastrointestinal endoscopy.) He trains surgical fellows in Robotic Surgery. He has a special clinical interest in abdominal cancer surgery including colorectal cancer.
