Sarah Freiberg is a native New Orleanian and a proud alumna of Trinity Episcopal School and Isidore Newman High School. She received her bachelor of science degree in exercise science from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC (go, Gamecocks!). She received her master of science in physician assistant studies from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, and immediately joined Ochsner in the orthopedic surgery department with a focus in spine surgery in 2015. In addition to her role in orthopedic surgery, Sarah became the regional lead advanced practice provivder of surgical specialties at Ochsner Medical Center in 2019. She is board certified by the National Commission On Certification Of Physician Assistants and Louisiana Medical Examiners Board. She is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. In her free time, Sarah enjoys gardening, running, cycling and watching the Saints.
