Dr. Ray received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Louisiana College in Pineville, Louisiana. She earned her master's degree in clinical psychology from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. And she earned her doctorate in counseling psychology from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She completed her internship through the Gulf Coast VA system with a sub-specialty in Primary Care (clinical psychology) and has been licensed as a psychologist in Louisiana since 2000. In 2007, Dr. Ray completed a postdoc master's degree in clinical psychopharmacology and was licensed to prescribe medication in Louisiana in 2008. She has worked in the Baton Rouge area since 2000 and joined the staff at Ochsner in 2020. She works with both children and adults across a spectrum of conditions and operates from an overall experiential framework, utilizing many different treatment modalities as tools for change. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
