Dr. Reinaldo Rampolla received his bachelor's and medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico. He also completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Puerto Rico. He completed his fellowship training in pulmonary/critical care medicine at Tulane University and his post-doctoral fellowship training in lung transplantation at Stanford University. Dr. Rampolla has achieved certifications by the American Board of Internal Medicine for pulmonary diseases as well as critical care medicine. He joined the Ochsner lung transplant team in 2009.
