Chris Uhl earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center and went on to obtain a master's degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he specialized in psychiatry. He completed his clinical training and internship at Mississippi State Hospital in Jackson, gaining experience in adult, geriatric, and forensic psychiatry.
Upon completion of his training, Chris became board certified by the ANCC as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. At Ochsner, he focuses primarily on the treatment of mood, anxiety, and stress-related disorders. He believes in a holistic approach to care and has a special interest in integrating health & wellness measures into each plan of treatment.
