Dr. Pinky Patel obtained her medical degree from the Chicago Medical School and completed an internal medicine residency at Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals. During her residency, she developed a passion for transplant nephrology and this was further solidified during her general nephrology training at the University of California in Irvine.
Dr. Patel completed a transplant nephrology fellowship at the University of California of Los Angeles. She is a member of the American Society of Transplantation and the American Society of Nephrology.
