Dr. Kenneth Byrd is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Ochsner, where he has been on staff since July 2000. Dr. Byrd's special interests include advanced laparoscopic surgery, including total laparoscopic hysterectomies, and laparoscopic adnexal surgery. Other interests include all aspects of gynecologic surgery, including pelvic reconstruction and incontinence. He currently accepts general low-risk and moderately high-risk obstetrical patients.
