Dr. Ulana Pogribna received her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans in 2007. At the same time, she also received her Masters in Public Health from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. She went on to complete her internship and pediatric residency at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston, Texas. She then completed her fellowship in neonatology at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston.
Dr. Pogribna is board certified in pediatrics and neonatal medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics. She has been on staff at Ochsner since 2013. Dr. Pogribna specializes and is well versed in the diagnosis and treatment of preterm infants and term infants with a variety of complex medical conditions. Additionally, Dr. Pogribna takes an active role in quality improvement initiatives for the care of sick infants and is a physician liaison in palliative and chronic care for infants.
