Dr. Laura Place received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Emory University located in Atlanta, GA. She the earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. Dr. Place went on to complete a Pediatrics Internship and Residency at San Antonio Military Pediatric Residency Program. She is board certified in Pediatrics. She joins Ochsner after serving as a Pediatrician in the US Air Force for the last 20 years. She has special interest in adolescent medicine and preventative care.
