Marie deMahy Rathe is a native of Louisiana who earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Louisiana Lafayette in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Previous experiences include 14 years as a patient care coordinator working in an orthopedic clinic coordinating patient care and assisting in surgery followed by 2 years as a nurse practitioner in family practice while working prn as a CRNFA in a multispecialty surgical capacity.
