Dr. Ujwal Meka received his medical degree from Andhra Medical College in India in 1997 and completed his residency training in emergency medicine at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2006. He has since practiced medicine in the emergency department at Slidell Memorial Hospital as well as at Pelican Urgent Care. He is certified as an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Provider and Basic Life Support Provider.
