Amanda received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Louisiana State University. She then achieved a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She obtained eight years of dermatology experience prior to achieving her Master's degree. She gained two years of experience as an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant at Ochsner West Bank. Amanda is certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Additionally, she is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Louisiana Academy of Physician Assistants, the New Orleans Physician Assistant Society and the Baton Rouge Physician Assistant Society.
