Alicia earned her Master of Science degree in Nursing from Loyola University and was certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in May 2012. She currently practices general hepatology and gastroenterology with specialties of pancreas and bile duct disorders. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Alicia worked as an RN for 9 years in the intensive care unit and endoscopy. She is board certified by and a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and a member of the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners.
