I was born in Gulfport, Mississippi, went to Saint John High School before Hurricane Katrina, and finished my training at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. After training, I decided to come home and serve the residents of Mississippi Gulf Coast with their primary care needs. I have always been interested in medicine; my father is a physician, and my wife is a physician as well. I am passionate about primary care and improving the health of my patients in all spheres of their lives.
I believe in excellence and compassion in every aspect in one's life, and I translate that into my practice of medicine. I enjoy helping patient's reach their health goals, no matter how challenging those goals initially seem to be. I also enjoy sitting down with patients and discussing their progress and fielding their questions, whether about complex medical issues or personal issues that may impact their quality of life, happiness, and wellbeing. Being a primary care physician affords me the opportunity to focus on the person as a whole, and, as a result, serve the person as a whole.
