Dr. Samuel Plost received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwest Medical School in Dallas, Texas. Following this, he completed his internship and residency at Tulane School of Medicine in New Orleans. Dr. Plost is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and has been on staff at Ochsner since 2019 and practicing medicine since 2016. Dr. Plost's expertise is in internal medicine. He is particularly interested in chronic disease management with a primary focus on reducing frequent hospitalizations.
