Dr. Eric Letonoff received his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He attended a transitional rotating internship at Scott AFB Medical center on Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. After graduation from his internship, he was assigned to Guam, USA where he practiced as a Flight Surgeon with the United States Air Force. Upon returning to the United States, he began and completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery with Michigan State University St. John's Oakland Hospital in Madison Heights, Michigan. He comes to Ochsner with 16 years of Orthopedics experience. Dr. Letonoff's Orthopedic Surgical interests include Sports Medicine, artificial joint replacement of the hip/knee/shoulder, trauma, foot and ankle, and hand surgery to include minimally invasive endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery. He practices at the Ochsner Medical Center - Hancock in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi and the Diamondhead clinic location.
